Gyutaro and Daki are two brothers and sisters who are subordinates of the demon lord Kibutsuji Muzan and are members of the top moon demon with the sixth rank. As one of the top moon demon members, Gyutaro and Daki have such great power. They are known to have killed and eaten at least 20 Hashira during their duties.

Gyutaro must take care of Daki alone, though he promises his sister to stay together no matter what. Daki has a very beautiful physique, which even adult men and women will be attracted to when they see him.

Because of her beauty, when Daki smiles, someone will give her a gift or something to take care of. This gradually changes the lives of Gyutaro and Daki. This gives them hope to rise from poverty.

Daki is then recruited to work at the district’s most prestigious nightlife venue. Then, he was given the training to become an Oiran during his training to become an Oiran.

When Gyutaro begins to fall from exhaustion and severe injuries, doma, the upper moon demon, approaches them. Doma comes after eating some geisha in the district, and she feels sorry to see Daki and Gyutaro’s condition.

Doma then offers Gyutaro to become a demon, and out of spite in her heart, Gyutaro accepts the offer. From then on, Gyutaro and Daki finally survived after receiving blood from Doma. The blood turned them into demons.

What is the backstory of Daki and Gyutaro in Demon Slayer?

As he reaches his final moments, Gyutaro recalls his past as a human born in the Kirimise to a prostitute mother. Before she died from syphilis, his mother tried to kill him many times, even after his younger sister was born.

Due to his appearance and lack of hygiene, the young Gyutaro was bullied and detested by everyone he met. Things began to change after his sister was born, as her beauty dismissed his inferiority complex, and he used his ugliness, plus his newfound fighting skills, to become an efficient debt collector.

However, the good fortune would not last for the siblings. When Ume turned 13, she blinded a samurai with a comb and was subsequently burned alive for her crime. Having been away on his job at the time, Gyutaro returned to find her barely alive and hugged her as she clung to life.

He cursed the gods to return his sister and for treating them cruelly before the same samurai attacked him. The samurai slashes Gyutaro from behind, allowing him to bleed out as he chats with one of the brothel managers.

The manager brazenly calls Gyutaro a nuisance and a brute for harassing the locals of the district before expressing her pity at having lost Ume as a courtesan. Before the samurai can finish him off, Gyutaro viciously kills the manager and berates the samurai for having a lavish lifestyle before gruesomely killing him as well by snapping his katana and slicing his head in half with his sickle.

As Gyutaro tried to find help for himself and his sister, no one would help them due to their reputation and circumstances. He trudges on through the street until he ultimately collapses and bleeds out on the floor as snow begins to fall.

The siblings lay on the floor dying until they are discovered by one of the Upper Ranks, who offers to turn them into Demons. Gyutaro adamantly proclaims that he will become a Demon again, no matter how many times he is reborn, wanting to always bring fear as “Gyutaro the Debt Collector.”

Who had the saddest backstory? Gyutaro from Demon Slayer or Naruto from Naruto?

Gyutaro:-

-Lost his mother due to a sickness

– was ugly, and due to this, he was ill-treated

– Lost his sister, who then was her only family left after his mom died

– He was then killed by the same guy who killed his sister

– A Brothel manager witnessed what had happened, but bro didn’t give two f*cks about it and said that he was a pain in the ass.

Wow, that is very sad… but now Naruto: –

– Lost both of his parents at a very young age

– Got bullied at his school

I had to live alone ever since the age of. I don’t know Child birth. well, old Gramps said that he would take care of young Naruto, but then after he was like the age of 3 – 4, he started to turn his heads around from him/

– Lost his good best friend Neji

– Lost his sensei, Jiraya

Who had the most tragic backstory, Rui or Gyutaro in Demon Slayer?

I think both of them went through unimaginable circumstances, but the fact that Gyu had to adapt to such conditions. Also, he loved his sister very much, and she was almost burnt to death, he had to do the dirty work himself, and the last scene, where he told his sis to walk 2wards the light, away from him, was probably the most heart wrecking thing.

Who is the most tragic character in Demon Slayer?

I’m surprised the others didn’t talk about Sanemi… (Spoilers)

In my opinion, Sanemi suffered way more than the others.

Now imagine you were the eldest son among seven siblings, and you had a father who constantly beat up your mother and you and your siblings.

So, one day, your father gets killed, and it’s up to you to look after everyone, which is a lot of responsibility. So you do your best and help your mother out to keep your family going, but one day, your mother doesn’t get back from work.

You go searching for your mother to find out she has become a demon, and she’s heading for your younger siblings. You rush to try and save them but fail to make it in time and only find one of your siblings alive. Just before she could kill the only family you had left, you tackled your mother and wrestled her and, in the end, killed her.

The next thing you know, your brother comes out of the house to find you standing over the body of your mother. In that single moment, he calls you a murderer without understanding the fact that you did it all for him and you had no other choice.

What is the backstory of Daki and Gyutaro in Demon Slayer?

You find out the best way to protect him is to avoid him and have to put on a fake hatred towards your brother so that he would stay away from you. You ignore the only family you had, thinking that would protect him, only for him to follow in your footsteps.

Regardless of that, you still act like you hate him and move on until the one thing you had been protecting all this time has been cruelly taken from you.

But even after all that, you still survive in the end with no one by your side. Everything you ever cared about is no more. That’s Sanemi’s story, and It’s damn tragic, honestly.

Anyway, this is my first Demon Slayer answer; I hope you enjoyed it.

What is the backstory of Nakime in Demon Slayer?

SPOILER…

Nakime was an amateur biwa musician who struggled to survive. She also had a husband with a serious gambling addiction. One day, when Nakime was planning on performing on stage, she found out that her husband had stolen her performance dress and gambled with it. Overcome with anger, Nakime killed her husband but soon realized she still had to do her performance.

She ended up going to the stage with nothing but rags on, and the audience was less than pleasant. Nakime was also still distraught over her first murder and started to play her biwa with nervousness.

To the surprise of everyone, Nakime was actually able to play the biwa with extraordinary proficiency despite being so nervous. She pleased everyone there and earned a big payout. Ever since that day, Nakime gained the habit of killing someone before each performance.

And ever since starting this ritual, she had nothing but successful performances. On one particular day, Nakime was planning on doing a killing before her performance. It just so happened that the person she tried to kill was Muzan.

Being impressed by the searching skills that Nakime displayed, Muzan decided to spare her life and offered the choice to become a demon. She took it and became the character that we know today.

What is Daki’s backstory in Demon Slayer?

Over a century ago, Daki was a human child by the name of Ume who lived in the Rashomon Riverbank of Yoshiwara, the lowest class of the Entertainment District, before she and Gyutaro were turned into demons personally by Doma, who was Upper-Rank Six at the time.

Human Daki;

Which Hashira got the saddest backstory in the Demon Slayer series?

In my opinion, it’s got to be Muichiro Tokitou, the mist pillar.

(muichiro and his twin,yuichiro)

They were born into a woodcutter family, and their parents died when they were just 10.

The two orphaned siblings survived together, with Muichiro taking after the emotional and kind nature of their father. Contrary to him, Yuichiro held a cold and impassive outlook on life.

In the following spring, Amane Ubuyashiki arrived to recruit the twins for the Demon Slayer Corps. Muichiro’s excitement was opposed by Yuichiro’s unwelcoming and rejecting reception. In an outburst, Yuichiro revealed that he blamed the death of their parents on their hardworking and selfless natures, which led to him adopting his cold demeanor, hoping that it would keep himself and his brother alive.

. In the following summer, when the twins were eleven, a Demon arrived at their cabin during the night. It attacked, resulting in Yuichiro losing his left arm while trying to protect Muichiro. As the Demon badgered them for their worthlessness, Muichiro lost himself in a rage and destroyed the Demon with all the tools at their disposal and wooden logs.

By sunrise, the Demon withered into ash, and Muichiro dragged himself back to the house. There, he found Yuichiro near death, praying to the heavens that his brother might survive. He lay next to his brother and grasped his hand as he passed away. Amane and her daughters later arrived to heal a severely wounded Muichiro.

Muichiro then loses his memories(probably due to PTSD).

And this isn’t the saddest part even.

Yuichiro even goes as far as calling him ineffective, maintaining a cold demeanor, and being seemingly selfish.

While here it might seem that Yuichiro is belittling Muichiro, it was all because he had seen what had become of their parents, who always wished to help people.

This is what broke Muichiro. He was broken before anyone else could have.

He was so damaged mentally that his mind cut off his memories to save him from trauma.

Anyway, here you go.

What is the backstory of Kanae Kocho in Demon Slayer?

Kanae Kocho’s backstory…

The Kocho sisters lived a peaceful, privileged life with their wealthy and loving parents, who continuously doted on and cared for them. Growing up wanting for nothing, the two sisters were content with their simple life together.

However, this all came crashing down when a demon attacked their home.

Kanae joined the Demon Corps and became a hashira.

She was killed later on by Douma of the 12 Kizuki/Uppermoon’s

In the anime series Demon Slayer, which demon had the saddest backstory?

To me, it was Iguro Obanai because:

  1. He was trapped in a wooden cage most of his life
  2. When he was 12, his mouth got cut from ear to ear
  3. When he found his only living family member, she screamed harsh words at him
  4. His family worshipped a demon
  5. The only one he could trust growing up was his snake, Kaburamaru
  6. His family made their livelihood off the goods of those who were killed by the snake demon
  7. 50 members of his family died because he escaped
  8. His family offered their children to the snake demon

These are my reasons why Iguro Obanai has the saddest backstory. If I could, I would have taken his place so he would not have to suffer.

What is Misturi’s backstory from Demon Slayer?

I take it you haven’t read the manga or just haven’t read up on that part yet… Well, I’ll explain it since it’s not exactly a spoiler in any way.

Mitsuri Kanroji’s backstory begins with her explaining to Tanjiro that she was actually on the verge of being wed. Unfortunately, the groom found her outrageously weird due to her hair color and immaturity.

She also had abnormal strength paired with an unsatiable appetite; in an attempt to “Fit in,” she’d starve herself at times; she even went as far as dying her hair at times. She eventually gave up doing these things and was honest with the groom, and he wasn’t interested anymore.

So afterward she joins the Demon Slayer Corps in the hopes of finding a husband who loves and appreciates her the way she is, and the rest you’ll have to find out through reading the manga or simply wait the 1–2 years for the next season.

When the Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba characters were reincarnated after their past lives, were they still friends? Was Nezuko still Tanjiro’s sister and the main trio still good friends?

The way I understand the ending, the characters who appeared in the modern day are split up into two groups. There are the characters who died throughout the main story and got reincarnated.

Then there are the survivors, who got married and had kids: the modern lookalikes from this group are descendants rather than reincarnations. Now, since talking about every reincarnation/descendant is too much work, I’ll focus on the main trio and Nezuko, whose descendants mostly know each other.

Spoilers beyond this point. You’ve been warned.

With the exception of Inosuke, the other characters’ descendants all know each other. Zenitsu (somehow) got Nezuko to marry him, so their lookalikes are siblings. The two seem to be friendly with their two cousins, Tanjiro and Kanao’s descendants.

Unlike the rest who are high-school age, Inosuke’s descendant is an adult, so he hadn’t met with any of the other descendants until he randomly befriended Tanjiro’s great-grandson.

What is the backstory of Daki and Gyutaro in Demon Slayer?

Was Demon Slayer’s ending bad?

Originally, yes.

After the Muzan fight, we get a little bit of information about who survives and what they are doing, and then we just randomly time skip hundreds of years later when everyone is dead, and it’s their kids in modern society.

This was a rushed ending, and it caused massive outrage amongst the community. I personally also agree because I don’t give a damn about these kids.

However… a month or two ago, the author wrote a new Demon Slayer ending where we got information on an already hypothesized pairing (Inosuke x Aoi), and we got to see a bunch of fluff between the characters.

That was the ending I was looking for. Everything felt right with this one. The author also apologized for the rushed ending and said that because she was rushed, she didn’t have enough time to make a proper ending.

We got it, though, so I’m happy.

However, a small little nitpick for me is why Tanjiro loses his Eye and arm when his becoming a demon should have regenerated it.

Although I guess it’s for plot reasons, and so Tanjiro didn’t get out of the war completely untouched. And so he could become twins with his girl, Kanao.

But anyways, I love the new ending, but the old one was pretty bad.
